Table Style in Rich Text field

I am trying to create a table within a Rich Text field.
Somehow, the style control in the table is not working

"<table width='600' style='border-collapse:collapse;border-spacing: 1px 1px' cellpadding='0' cellspacing='0' align='center'>"

 When comparing  'border-collapse:collapse? vs  'border-collapse:seperate?

?border-spacing: 1px 1px'  vs ?border-spacing: 15px 15px'

There's no difference on the format.  
Any suggestions are highly appreciated!
