table to table imports to remove data

One solution assuming that you import these employees say daily on some automated basis, would be to import a field which contains the current date.

Then each employee who continues to be active will have that date be current. But of course employees that were not imported would have an old value for that date field in the target table. You could then have a nightly automation go through and delete employees wear that date last imported is older than say a week.
