Table to Table Relationships Many to One

I have table to table relationship set up, where one quickbase is looking to another quickbase to bring in certain field data and populates. For certain items I'm getting data back, however, there are other items where I'm getting a return of ??? question marks. I looked at the relationship on both tables and it looks to be set up correctly. Any ideas where else I should be looking. Any help is much appreciated.
