Text field formatting

I have two text fields in a formula.  How can make the display like two separate paragraphs ------------------------------ Robert Rufli ------------------------------

The \n is the character which causes a carriage return , ie new line.

[Field 1]
& "\n\n"
[Field 2]

you need two of them to cause a paragraph vertical space

    I'm not sure what you mean by all the different controls.  For a regular text field  there is not much that you can do in the way of formatting.

    However if you use a Rich Text formula field then full HTML type formatting is available.
