Text hidden and does not wrap in new Reports

It appears that the text does not wrap when the column width is reduced in the new report. Instead, the text becomes hidden and does not display ellipsis (three dots). To view the comments, I have to either set the row height to “Max” or open each record individually.
However, setting the row height to “Max” makes the report excessively long and difficult to scroll, even when comments contain only a single line. Additionally, this setting does not display the entire comment within the defined column width, requiring me to increase the column width as well.

    The design concept of the new reports is that they are meant to load extremely quickly since that was a big complaint of the V2 Table reports.  The design concept is that the developer sets the row height on the report to their best guess at what would be mostly appropriate and the users should be provided with the instruction to use the icon near the top right of the screen to adjust the row height, if they are looking at records which have a lot of text.
