Hi Hing,
Yes in that point I would recommend opening a support case and indicating this is what you are running into. We are trying to get specifics on everyone that is having this issue while our PD Team is looking into it.

- JiLin8 years agoQrew TraineeTested this in our environment, favorite icon breaks in all apps that are not using the default purple. It doesn't work whenever there is custom color branding.
- EvanMartinez8 years agoModeratorHi Ji,
You are correct our Escalation Lead saw this thread and he reached out to confirm to me that the broken Favorite bug does seem to only happen in an application that is using custom colors for the header instead of the default purple. We just want to make sure that everyone putting in cases is clear whether they are having an issue with not seeing an icon (which should now be resolved) and the Favorite report not populating. That way we can be sure everything gets correctly tied together as we continue to investigate that issue and then we can also make sure our users are notified when a patch or fix is put into place. - MannyHernandez18 years agoQrew Traineeany update or ETA on the patch? I am have the second issue. I still cannot add reports to the favorite bar.
- MaryDuke8 years agoQrew MemberThe favorite button isn't working for me either. I click the favorite button but no report is added to my favorites.
- EvanMartinez8 years agoModeratorHI Mary Ann,
We have seen that bug with the favorite report button when the header color is white or a very light color (light grays and pastels). The current temporary work around is to change the color to a darker color and try again. The bug is still being worked on by our PD team. - TomTom8 years agoQrew MemberStop telling people to change the color when the issue is we SEE THE FAVORITE button, but upon pressing it, it doesn't work... nothing is added to the favorites list. Also, I'm not using customer colors of any sort, so this is a Quickbase issue. As much money as we're overcharged for our licensing, I'm surprised the answer is... change your colors. If I had specific colors, I would be livid that a simple color change has such a significant impact on your customers.
- EvanMartinez8 years agoModeratorHi Tom,
I am sorry that this issue has been persisting, our PD team is still working on the issue at this time. The suggestion of altering your application header's color is just a work around that helps to resolve the issue in most cases while our team continues to work. The long term answer is not to change your color, it is what I can suggest app admins do while work on this issue continues. We do appreciate your feedback on how this bug is affecting your use of Quick Base. - HingChan8 years agoQrew TraineeThe workaround is to click the favorite star (black star) at the top and click Recently visited in this app. Find your report and click the star next to the report to make it the favorite.
- TomTom8 years agoQrew MemberThanks, I hadn't noticed you could favorite them from the recent reports menu.
