Throw Pop-Up On Open

I've searched the interwebs, but can not find an answer. I'm trying to have a record throw a pop-up flag everytime it's opened. Essentially, this would by my "Snowflake" setting, in so far as I need this to throw when something is out of norm. Anyone out there know how to make this happen?

    You will need to use a function like the IOL (Image Onload) to evaluate the record and display a pop-up when it meets your criteria.

    I'd recommend using a checkbox to evaluate the scenario, and then the code will only look at once field for a yes/no.
