------------------------------- If you are scared of 'P' , You can consider 'A' aka QuickBase 'Actions' (they are arcane , but boy they are fast).
I have a formula field with value now() , I run an action which simply copies the value from formula field to timestamp field.

------------------------------- MarkShnier__YouYes,, brilliant, we tend to forget about Actions. It was a direction that QuickBase was going in to make Webhooks more approachable and non technical. So an Action is really a Webhook with a pretty face. And yes, they fire truly instantly and natively with no fancy intercession to external Pipeline engines.
