Hi Audrey,
The best way to insert an image into a post is to use the image icon that appears in the text editor. It is the one that depicts a mountain inside of a frame and from there it will ask you to upload an image that you would pick from your own computer by clicking the pinkish Upload Image button and selecting the right image. Then once you have you can insert it right into your reply. Then from there you can drag to resize. You would want to make sure you are clicking Upload Photo and then selecting a photo from your computer in the steps. I hope that helps.

Hi, To clarify, I do understand the process. It was described earlier in the thread and is very straightforward. It doesn't work though. My computer just sits there spinning for 20 minutes until I finally cancel. I tried this several times and got the same result each time.

------------------------------- I don't know if this is the best place to bring this up but one thing I noticed about images on the new forum is you can no longer expand them. On the old forum if you left clicked the image it would expand to the larger size in the current window. Now this functionality seems to be missing. I cannot figure out how to expand pictures. If you open them in a new tab they are still the thumbnail version so it is impossible to read them.
Having the ability to expand the picture is wonderful because then you don't have giant pictures taking up half the screen or what happens in most cases you don't have the tiny unreadable thumbnails.- Hi Michael,
Thank you for the feedback, I am realizing I should probably make up a proper feedback thread. The images they came over from our old community got snapshotted and as a result some of them got scrunched down. For the newer posts whenever someone puts in an image they would be able to drag it to the size they want it to be and it would be saved as a higher quality typically so zooming in would be more possible. It is certainly something we can look into in more depth though and we really appreciate all the feedback we are getting on the new site.
