Total XML Element Count Exceeded.

I am creating an app that tracks productivity for my team. All the fields are created that I need but when I was formatting the form in the correct order I got the following message. Any ideas? TIA.

Form not saved.

Total XML Element Count Exceeded. at line 1 column 265912 (which is byte 265912)

  • Hi Jaime,

Did you get this error message when you saved the Form? I have only seen this error in the past when a user is uploading a CSV of data. That most often happens when an XML character is contained with the body of the data over and over again, for example a customer I worked with had the | straight up and down line character in the body of their text over and over and as a result QB was reading that as a ton of XML elements.

      Hi Evan,

I only get the message when I try to save. I spoke with Kris through a support ticket and it seems I have hit a size limitation. It is a rather large table with over 2k fields, alternate text, and a few hundred dynamic form rules. My solution is to eliminate some fields so I can utilize the ones I definitely need. Thanks.
