Trigger notification based on records checkbox opening state

Any kind of trigger in QuickBase, Notifications or Automations or Pipelines will only Trigger when there is an edit to a record.
but you could make a formula URL to edit fields(s) on a record (thus Triggering a Notification) and then land the user in edit mode on the record.
