Trouble with query comparing field data between two unconnected tables

I'm trying to get a query to work to compare if data contains similar letters between fields in the two tables and output text from another field.

Writing the formula in Table 1
Desired output would be if [product code] (FID 116) in Table 1 contains 'EL' and [Product Code Selection] (FID 8) in Table 2 (bs9xqc72i) contains 'EL', list value from Table 2, Name (FID 6). I know I need to use the GetFieldValues(GetRecords( query but I'm new to queries and am lost as to what to do next. Any help would be much appreciated.
