Troubleshooting an automation

Any advice on how to troubleshoot an automation?  I got this error and know which automation it is but it does not indicate at all what the issue was.  It just takes me to the automation.

  • The error message says that there is a required field and you are not populating it.  So look at the field list to see which fields are required. They will have a red star.

Sorry should have posted this as well.  All of the red asteriks fields are populated:

  • Ivan,

When did the fields become required? You may have gaps.

More than once I have had optional fields evolve into required fields as the business case grows more sophisticated.  Then you have older data that is valid but incomplete.  Reports, automatons and workflows then do not work correctly because of the legacy issue.

I am not sure exactly when might have been required.  But if I go into the source table it looks like all of those fields are complete which is why I am really confused about this.

They give you so little troubleshooting information I am having a hard time spotting the issue.
