Truncate email signature blocks

I am looking for some assistance in writing a formula that will truncate an email signature block in a notes record that is a multiline text field.

For example - the Notes field may contain the following:
_________________________________________________________________________
Thank you for your inquiry.  We will have the next representative contact you immediately.

Jim Smith
Smith Co
(123) 456-789
[email protected]


SmithCo because a Smith is the best
SmithCo Incorporated
Smith Confidentiality Policy..... Etc etc.
_________________________________________________________________________
I am looking for the formula to truncate anything after [email protected].

The notes feild will NOT always have the same text, but the email address, [email protected] will always be in the record.

    Hi Eric. If this is still an issue, I'd be glad to help you solve it. Will the email address either always be the same fixed address or an email address from another field in the record (an Email Address field perhaps)? Or will it always be a random email address unknown in advance and without any connection to the values of other fields in the record? That makes a big difference in whether we can solve this natively in Quick Base using a formula field or whether we would need to write a script to do it.
