Updating employee name?
How can I update an employee name to include a special character "?" rather than just "e"?

- You can probably do it however you managed to do this post here on the Forum. Try copying the � onto the clipboard and editing the name field for that that one character.
- Unfortunately, no. When I edit the employee name (whether it be with the � or a completely different spelling of the name, it will not save it. I receive a pop-up notice that "nobody matches.
- I think that an Admin for the app or QuickBase support or a QSP like myself would need to look at your app with you to understand what logic is doing that pop up. I thought that this was just a data entry field that you were just doing a simple data entry update, but it appears that the app is doing more than that when you enter the name.
- Thanks! Yes, I don't believe it's treating it as an entry update. The employee name is tied to records/contacts/opportunities within our QB.
