- NealNealQrew MemberHi Hilary,
Can you please provide more details ?
My guess is that form data contains different types of info e.g. Customer Info and Contact Info. You would like to put Customer-Info in Customer-table and Contact-Info in Contact-table.
Thanks,
Neal
NealPatil @ gmx.com - HilaryHilaryQrew MemberYes, a pdf would include about 30-40 rows of data that belongs in 3 different tables-- Buyers, Contacts, and Funding Sources, i.e. buyer name would go to buyers, contact name would go to contacts, funding amount would go in funding sources.
- NealNealQrew MemberHi Hilary,
So your expected solution would do the following :
- upload pdf file as attachment to table-record
- parse pdf file
- get Buyers and put into Buyers table
- get Contacts and put into Contacts table
- get Funding Sources and put into Funding Sources table
- integrate pdf-info with Buyers, Contacts, and Funding Sources i.e. the table records will have info of source-pdf file from which data was captured

NealPatil @ gmx.com - LauraThackerQrew CaptainAt EMPOWER2016 there was a session run by Ian Greig from Run Energy. They utilized GoFormz to connect PDF Forms to QuickBase. https://empower2016.com/agenda-sessions/
If your business collects information on paper forms, you may think manual data entry is the only way to get that information into QuickBase. But Run Energy found a way to automate this process by leveraging multiple technologies, including GoFormz, SendtoQuickBase, and Zapier. Now, field personnel can collect information from paper forms typically supplied by customers and upload them into QuickBase quickly and easily. The result is a streamlined business process that leaves no data behind.

Not sure if this would work for your situation; but worth a look. - HilaryHilaryQrew MemberYes to the first five steps, sixth step not necessary. As long as the pdf is attached to the record it corresponds with in the Buyer table, that's good enough.
- HilaryHilaryQrew MemberHm, I'll look into these, thanks!
