Using asterisk * at the end of field name

I have certain fields that are critical to formulas and reporting within all the tables in the App. I want to tag them so I know these are the ones I need to watch out for if making any changes. Rather than add additional characters to already lengthy field names, I thought an asterisk at the end of each would help me spot these easily (versus looking at my field comments).

Is there any reason this is a bad idea or might pose problems later on?

    if you tick must be filled , apps automatically add *.

      For the field name itself - when creating or updating the field name, I want to add an asterisk to the end of the field name. If field name was called ABC, I want to rename to ABC*.

        Ruby, you could also use the comments feature of the fields and turn on the comments in the advanced features:


        You can add comments in the field settings:
        This allows you to see your comments next to the field label:

        or you can hover over the thought bubble icon and the field details pop-up:
