Zap - Create/Update from Array option

Hi All,  Looking to utilize the zapier - create/update from array tool to keep records in QB updated or create if new, but running into an issue because Zapier needs to be given a merge field in or...

Unfortunately, I didn't get the "array" option to work. Instead, I still have the "placeholders" table, but now the Zapier action is to add a record to placeholders, and I'm using a Quick Base Automation to feed the information correctly into my Leads table from a newly added Placeholder record.
