I'll be able to use the first option I believe with another challenge. Thank you!!! ------------------------------ Nicole Cordeiro ------------------------------ If/then with blank field and checkbox Hello friends, question about a field that used to work for me but no longer does. In one form, one field will either be blank or have a number in it, we'll call it "tag number". If "tag number" is blank, I set up a checkbox to check. If "tag number" is filled out, then the checkbox will not check. the formula I used that used to work was Checkbox-formula if([tag number]=null, true, false Am I doing something wrong? The box is not showing checked when I leave the Name field blank. When I use If(IsNull([tag number]), false, true) It checks whether it is blank or not Help ------------------------------ Nicole Cordeiro ------------------------------ Pie Chart Report with similar field values(example) So if this is my table (turned pie chart) Color # of shirts red 10 pale red 3 blue 5 black 7 But in the pie chart, I want Red and Pale red to both be grouped as "red" so the value would be 13 but in a table report, I still want to report them separately in a field. Is there a way to do this? Thanks! ------------------------------ Nicole ------------------------------Lookup employee number from namenot sure if this is a formula or a relationship but I'm looking to pick an employee's name and have the employee number of that person auto-populate.Re: Date field with only day and monthno they are not. We use the app mainly for tracking their [Supervisor's] performance.Re: Date field with only day and monthcopy that. Does a Supervisor ID have to be like a number or can it be their Name? That's how I have it now. [Supervisor Assigned] and their name in that field.Re: Date field with only day and monthalso, I'd like to mention that the above table is within an app that already contains a Supervisor table. So maybe I can link them together ?Re: Date field with only day and monthI went ahead and just made the dates in the date column to all include 2019. I'm still running into an issue with reminders/notifications when it comes to notifying their Supervisor that a performance appraisal is due. (table example below) So how do I make sure that Lonnie and Oreste are always linked with Mark b/c they're on Mark's Team. And then when it comes time for their eval, say maybe 7 days prior to the [eval due date] (the above example are past due, but you know what I mean), how do I ensure that Mark is notified and not all the other Supervisors? Does their need to be a relationship?Re: Date field with only day and monthcopy that. Will it matter that the year is in the old due date column? I'm only asking because they're the employee's hire date. (performance appraisals are done yearly based on their hire date)Re: Date field with only day and monthThanks Mark! You're always so helpful! The first part worked like a champ but the portion where I create the report doesn't recognize "due date" as a date b/c it's a text formula field now. Am I understanding that right?
