I will be switching all of my content from this account to my 'sandbox' account in 2024. I have my record of classes taken and my university courses on here. However, I will continue in my personal account. Is there a way I can transfer my Zooms and other items to it? Happy New Year 2024 ------------------------------ Bob T. ------------------------------ Re: I need to use the following field in a date range I was on vacation, actually six pet sitting (4 cats & 2 dogs), so I printed this out when I got home. I will look at. I actually was going to work on this task, and see I posted a year ago. Thanks, may have time tomorrow. ------------------------------ Bob T. ------------------------------ Re: Data Table is a Text Field; Need it to be a conditional dropdown field Thanks Don. I was hoping that once an application was selected, usually defaults to the one the user is in, that it would populate with just the tables that exist. I think I will explore a bit and probably leave as is. It would be nice to hae the tables present populate & then another choice could be added. If done that way, if it were me, I would try to have the data show how it was chosen, from the actual tables or if the user created there own. As I think I stated, or at least meant to, that tables disappear from our apps, and then I would still like the data record stay intact. But if the table no longer was a part of the selected application, a different color could indicate a table no longer part of the app. Thanks again. ------------------------------ Bob T. ------------------------------ Data Table is a Text Field; Need it to be a conditional dropdown field Data Table is a Text Field; Need it to be a conditional dropdown field Presently a user is allowed to add a table name to an application, even if it doesn't exist as an actual table. This seems confusing to me. I thought that wouldn't it be better to actually have an actual table name that shows when the Application of concern is selected. (Actually whatever App a user is in when they want to add a table it should fill in the App. But the tables of the App that shows doesn't list the actual tables of the App exist. Is there a way to have a conditional dropdown populate with just the tables of that app? A word of CAUTION, I wish to create a separate data field that doesn't destroy the data entered in the 'Table Name' field, but rather be added. There may be table names that don't actually exist. Then too, if a table is removed, then I wouldn't want the table name in the field to disappear. Hope this isn't confusing. The images might help. ------------------------------ Bob T. ------------------------------ Re: New Forms ~ How Do I enable 'Dynamic Form Rules' Thanks all I'm going to have to look at the two links I have up this weekend and try to figure out how to get the criteria that is showing in my last image from the old forms. ------------------------------ Bob T. ------------------------------ Re: New Forms ~ How Do I enable 'Dynamic Form Rules' I got two links & printed them out & have them bookmarked when I am mobile to look at. https://helpv2.quickbase.com/hc/en-us/articles/15342169525396-Create-a-form-rule https://helpv2.quickbase.com/hc/en-us/articles/15157249413396-Building-form-rules-in-Quickbase Maybe these two pages will help me. Thanks. ------------------------------ Bob T. ------------------------------ Re: New Forms ~ How Do I enable 'Dynamic Form Rules' Okay on the old forms, a nice Action section (see image that allows me to put in make read-only Status hide Section: Admin hide Tab: Admin I can only get make frea-only to work on the new forms and can't get Status to show or hide... It needs some instructions. Is there a help section to the new forms and the 'Dynamic Form Rules'? ------------------------------ Bob T. ------------------------------ Re: New Forms ~ How Do I enable 'Dynamic Form Rules' Thanks. I will have to read up on how to do. ------------------------------ Bob T. ------------------------------ Re: New Forms ~ How Do I enable 'Dynamic Form Rules' Yes I have that. I was just wondering how to use the rules, it looks a little easier on the old forms. ------------------------------ Bob T. ------------------------------ New Forms ~ How Do I enable 'Dynamic Form Rules' Happy Halloween! New Forms ~ How Do I enable 'Dynamic Form Rules' I thought this question on 'New Forms' needed it's own thread. I have the administrative section setup. But I don't have 'Dynamic Form Rules.' The old form does, and this section is only available to administrator roles. How does this work in 'New Forms'? ------------------------------ Bob T. ------------------------------
