The code does not show any kind of errors except the one that pops up when trying to submit the signature ------------------------------ Yasmin Boyrati ------------------------------ URL "Sign it" has stopped working in forms Hi, I'm looking for some guidance on why the "Sign it" field on my app forms has stopped working. It used to be that you click "sign it" which took you to new window and allowed you to sign and submit, then returned the signature to the form. At the moment, the pop up window opens and allows you to sign but it won't allow submitting the signature and returning it to the form. The pop-up error I get is "Record ID, Field ID, or DBID not found. Please check the URL and try again." The code I currently have in the field is below: URLRoot() & "db/" & Dbid() & "?a=dbpage&pageid=2&dbid=" & Dbid() & "&fid=" & 28 & "&rid=" & [Record ID#] This code was added to the forms over a year ago and has worked great since but suddenly stopped functioning. If anyone has any input as to why the URL is no longer working, I would really appreciate your assistance. Thanks! ------------------------------ Yasmin Boyrati ------------------------------ Re: App-to-App ConnectionsThanks Mark! I ended up doing this and it has been working great! ------------------------------ Yasmin Boyrati ------------------------------ App-to-App ConnectionsI basically have 2 apps that are libraries for standard operating procedures (SOP) and control documents (CD). Each SOP can have multiple related CDs; each CD can be related to many SOPs. I have created an app-to-app relationship where SOPs can have many CDs and you select the related SOP via lookup in each CD form. On the SOP table I have a summary number of related CDs. Now, I'm having trouble getting the second part of this- each CD can be related to many SOPs. the lookup only allows to pick 1 value. Is there a way to multi-select text lookup? ------------------------------ Yasmin Boyrati ------------------------------ Copying inventory entries & fieldsI have 3 tables in an app- purchase orders, items, and inventory. Currently I have it set up so that when a order arrives, the related fields for the purchase order and the item are added into an inventory entry. Usually when we order a box of items, we get for example 4 packs in the box, so after adding one item to the inventory table, we select the "copy item" to add the remaining 3 packs to inventory table. The issue I'm facing is that the Purchase order info from the first item does not copy over for the remaining items. Is there anyway to make this work? Thanks in advance! ------------------------------ Yasmin Boyrati ------------------------------ If.. Then statements for quickbaseHi! I've recently been assigned as an admin for quickbase and have some question regarding a project I have been assigned. We have an ordering app that includes separate tables for vendors, internal requisitions, items, and inventory. I need to add an "order division field" to the internal requisition and each division will be associated with a list of product types. The product type will be in the "items" form. There is a relationship between: Each Vendor can have many internal requisitions Each Internal requisitions can have many item entries Each Internal requisition can have many inventory entries What I need to do is - When adding items to the internal requisition I would like to be able to only see product types associated with e.g. division A if the internal requisition the item is being added to is under division A. If division is B then only show product types for B. What is the best way to accomplish this? Do I need to create a separate table to associate divisions with product types, or add division as a field and use a formula with multiple choice in the items form to only show "x product types" if division = A. ------------------------------ Yasmin Boyrati ------------------------------
