I would love a for loop ------------------------------ Alexandria Lewis ------------------------------ Email Notifications: exclude a user in a user list, email the rest of the listWhat I'm trying to do: Email "subscribers" user list when entry modified, exclude current user if in list (subscribers) but still email the other users listed. Condition I tried: When Subscribers(user list) does not include <the current user> Result: blocks the whole list So I assume I need to make a formula list user field, pull in the subscribers list to iterate over, exclude the user if equal to current user, and use this formula user list to email on modification. I just don't know how to do that in quick base. Any help is appreciated! ------------------------------ Alexandria Lewis ------------------------------ Re: Gauge Report not listed in Report link dropdownSolved the issue by putting the report into the child table. But now the gauge report is full even though the percentage is correct (25%)... I noticed that 0% is an empty gauge. ------------------------------ Alexandria Lewis ------------------------------ Gauge Report not listed in Report link dropdown I'm following the gauge report tutorial from Empower 2020 "Going from Good to Great Reporting- Nathan Call, Quick Base". The report is in a table of "Courses" that is linked to a table of "Course Tasks". The Courses table has a "Percentage Complete" formula field in decimal form. It uses summaries from the child table "Course Tasks". [# of Completed Tasks]/[# of Tasks] I used this field in the Gauge report (averaged) with a goal of 1. Report Link Field Relationships are: Match the values in this field from this table: Record ID# to the values in this field: APPLICATION FieldCourse Tasks: Related Program Course My problem is that the Report link form element lists all the other reports except my Gauge Report! Why isn't this report being listed, I can't find an answer online. ------------------------------ Alexandria Lewis ------------------------------ How to use percentage in Gauge ChartI have a table summarizing a tasks child table. I have summaries for "# of tasks", "# of active tasks", and "# of completed tasks". I made a Report Link to show the Gauge chart of tasks per entry in its own form. But I can't get a formula field to accurately calculate in the Gauge chart. It's calculating 162.5% for some reason when it's supposed to be 4% Formula Perc Comp: [# of Tasks]/[# of Completed Tasks]/100 Gauge chart settings: (Formula Perc Comp) Summarized by: summed Start at 0 Goal is 1 How do I make the gauge chart show correctly show the entry's completed tasks percentage? ------------------------------ Alexandria Lewis ------------------------------ Re: How to embed chart into a form for the same table?Thank you that worked!! ------------------------------ Alexandria Lewis ------------------------------ How to embed chart into a form for the same table?I made a gauge chart displaying the number of completed tasks from a child table. However I am unable to put the chart from the parent table into its own form. Only the "Tasks" element offers reports to embed. Is is possible to embed reports from the same table in its own form? ------------------------------ Alexandria Lewis ------------------------------ Re: Dynamically emailing users tagged in Notes FieldThe Notes field? It's a text multi-line field. It's logging entries added to the Notes. ------------------------------ Alexandria Lewis ------------------------------ Dynamically emailing users tagged in Notes FieldI'm trying to dynamically target users when they've been mentioned with an '@' symbol in the Notes Field. So far I am able to pull the names into a Formula List Users field and email them. But I don't want to email every name that's ever been mentioned. Just the mentions in the current Note's entry. So, is there a way to clear the Formula List User field, add any user in the newest Notes entry, and just email that person? // Make list of all @callouts var text CalloutList = List(";", Left(Part([Task Notes], 2, "@"), " "), Left(Part([Task Notes], 3, "@"), " "), Left(Part([Task Notes], 4, "@"), " ") ); //Parse each call out var text calloutOne = Part(ToText($calloutlist), 1, ";"); var text calloutTwo = Part(ToText($calloutlist), 2, ";"); var text calloutThree = Part(ToText($calloutlist), 3, ";"); //Convert callout name to an email var text calloutemailone = Case($calloutone, "lee", "lgilmore@quickbase.com", "kris", "kkeene@quickbase.com", "adrian", "alloyd@quickbase.com"); var text calloutemailtwo = Case($callouttwo, "lee", "lgilmore@quickbase.com", "kris", "kkeene@quickbase.com", "adrian", "alloyd@quickbase.com"); var text calloutemailthree = Case($calloutthree, "lee", "lgilmore@quickbase.com", "kris", "kkeene@quickbase.com", "adrian", "alloyd@quickbase.com"); //Display list of callouts //ToUser($calloutemailone & "; " & $calloutemailtwo & "; " & $calloutemailthree) ToUserList(ToUser($calloutemailone),ToUser($calloutemailtwo),ToUser($calloutemailthree)) ------------------------------ Alexandria ------------------------------
