Users used to be able to click the three dots next to a field in a report and group the report. Now it seems only administrators can group reports. Is there a setting somewhere we can change this? Lots of users relied on this function so it's kind of disappointing. Thank you in advance! ------------------------------ Gelo ------------------------------ Re: Make field data permanentWe are a mortgage lender so we want to track where a loan is throughout the life of the application process. For historical analysis, we want to say "ok, so loan ABC was marked as "Approved" in the "Current Status" field on 4/21/2022. It was marked "Funded" in the "Current Status" field on 5/21/2022. Therefore we know it took 1 month from being approved to funding." As it stands now, we have no way of storing that historical data because it overwrites the "Current Status" field. We are looking for a way to log that current status field data so we can query off it. I hope this makes sense! ------------------------------ Gelo ------------------------------ Re: Make field data permanentThis is super helpful but it would not be in a form. We would want the field to auto populate once the criteria is met. ------------------------------ Gelo ------------------------------ Make field data permanentHello! We want to create a Formula-Checkbox field that is true when a certain trigger occurs, when it "switches" we want it to stay switched and never change back. Is that possible with QB? For example if there are 3 stages of a record like stage 1, stage 2, stage 3...when it switches to stage 2, we want it to stay stage 2 even if it goes back to stage 1 or to stage 3. Basically, once it hits that trigger, the field locks. Thanks so much, ------------------------------ Gelo ------------------------------ Color-coding specific time sensitive recordsHello Everyone, I have a table report that the sales team uses to work through deals. I know we can create a formula for color-coding the records, just not sure what the formula would be. We want to color-code records like so: If the today's date is 1 week before [Closing Date] highlight red. If today's date is a month before [Closing Date], highlight yellow, etc. Once that date has passed, highlight another color. I really appreciate any help, thank you! ------------------------------ AG ------------------------------ Re: Next Work Date/Follow-up FieldOh my gosh, that is literally the simplest way and I didn't even think of that. Thank you!!! ------------------------------ Gelo ------------------------------ Next Work Date/Follow-up FieldHello! We have a date field for Collectors called "Next Work Date" which is essentially a follow-up date. They input a date and that field serves as a reminder to follow-up with that customer on whatever date was entered. My question is, is there a way to filter out an account with a "Next Work Date" from their active worklist table report and then have it re-enter their active worklist table report on that date? Thanks in advance!Re: Add Field Total for Date RangeThe budget is overall for the company ------------------------------ Gelo ------------------------------ Re: Add Field Total for Date RangeOne of the main purposes is for commission for sales reps. We have a budget every month. We need to reference the Budget fields to see if January is over or under budget and then pay accordingly. Ideally, we will create a field called "Commission Total" that applies the commission formula to the total amount funded for that month (For example- If Jan Funded < Jan Budget, Jan Funded * 0.005) Until we know what the number is for each month, this is impossible for us to figure out ------------------------------ Gelo ------------------------------ Re: Add Field Total for Date RangeHi Mark, No, those are three different totals. For the purpose of our calculations, having the current year number is most important. If there is a way to distinguish year by year that would be great but not the end-all-be-all of our purpose. Hope this helps, thanks! ------------------------------ Gelo ------------------------------
