A little "export list" feature would be nice, and I don't think asking too much from QB. Thank you! Tony ------------------------------ Tony Tony ------------------------------ Re: Is it possible to download the entire field list for a table?Late reply to an old thread, but how hard would it be for QB to put an export function here instead of worrying about changing reports and other features that make no meaningful difference? This seems like a basis admin feature that is (still 4 years later) completely missed by QB. ------------------------------ Tony Tony ------------------------------ Re: Anyone Lose Form Changes Made in QB on 02/01/21?Mark: Thank you for the response. I too have been working with QB for many years and have NEVER seen this issue before. I did have an issue where a Form was completely deleted in QB due to a bug, but that was a long time ago and was resolved. I have checked everything I can think of and cannot pin it down to any actions that we took. I honestly didn't believe my User when he reported it to me until I checked and confirmed it. Let me know if you hear or see of anything. Thank you! TonyS ------------------------------ Tony Tony ------------------------------ Anyone Lose Form Changes Made in QB on 02/01/21?I made changes to Form GUI and Form Rules yesterday. They saved without error. My users began using them yesterday afternoon successfully. Yesterday evening 02/01/21 my Users started reporting that the Forms field reverted back to the ones that I changed. I checked the Form rules and they reverted back to the way they were as well. This is VERY concerning if a QB glitch caused this. We are a small company and I've already confirmed that none of my Admins requested a roll back of our app. I can also confirm that QB data was not affected, only the Form changes that I made. QB support confirmed an access issues yesterday, but they appear to be unaware of any other issues. Any QB Admins or developers out there experience the same issue? Please chime in, if so, as this would be a very big deal. Thank you! TonyS ------------------------------ Tony Tony ------------------------------ Re: Issues with Dynamic Form Rules after Sunday's Rich Text UpdateEvan, thank you. My QB case number is 549283.Issues with Dynamic Form Rules after Sunday's Rich Text UpdateI am posting this in a new post as the current one addressing this is hard to find. In the latest release this Sunday, 12/17/2017, QB support confirmed to me that they automatically updated various text fields whereby the "Allow HTML" checkbox was checked to Rich Text fields. This affected most Text fields and Formula Text fields. Among other possible effects which are not known, one effect of this change that I can confirm in my apps is that it has broken the functionality of some Dynamic Form Rules. Specifically confirmed is when you have a Form Rule that is supposed to update a Field (now Rich Text) with values. For instance, I have a what was once a Text Field with the "Allow HTML" checkbox checked that is now a Rich Text field through QB's wisdom. My former Text (Multi-Line) field on the form page no longer updates when someone checks a box that is supposed to populate it with certain text data, as per my Form Rule. My resolution was to go into the field properties and change it back to Text (Multi-Line). If I change it back to Rich Text again, it still does not work. In my case, this field doesn't need to allow HTML, but for some people this is broken and I am not sure of the resolution if you need html in the field to be read as html. Please feel free to provide any additional information you may know in this thread.Re: No Allow Some HTML Option On Text Formula Fields?Evan, I also had this issue. Not only did QB change the Text Formula fields to Rich Text, they also changed the Text (Multi-Line) fields I had to Rich Text. This broke my Form Rules as well. Mine were a simple, "If this checkbox field is checked, put this text into the field". They were not trying to push data from Rich Text somewhere else. I have reported to Support, who has no clue this is happening. Can't believe more users aren't noticing this yet.Re: Anyone having issues with QB after migration? Some of my child table records are not loading or slow loading...I am still having the issue. Some records are opening horrifically slowly (30+ seconds), others are opening normally.Re: Anyone having issues with QB after migration? Some of my child table records are not loading or slow loading...I have reported it to Quickbase support, but they don't get in until 9:00 am Eastern, hard to believe that they don't have a 24-hr support as a SAAS provider that is international and has Fortune 500 clients, especially after a major data migration.Anyone having issues with QB after migration? Some of my child table records are not loading or slow loading...My application is working really fast after the migration and was super excited...until I started to drill down into my child tables and notice a tremendous lag where QB opens the table bar and header information, but the child data from the table is blank for about 3-5 minutes before it eventually opens. This has been confirmed by users at other physical locations and is not a network issue on our side. As I said, the app is working amazingly fast until I drill down into it.
