After records are added, I need the pipeline to search in the entire table (new records + old records) and retrieve all with a specific criteria like: all records with "Uploaded" from column "Status". If I delete the search, then the Create record option will just copy without my criteria. Do you have any suggestion in this way? It appears that I cannot trigger a single copy when there are more than one record added; this is clear in step A, where the option specifically mentions "When Record Created." Later edit: I just noticed the option below where the trigger is "On New Event". The outcome looks like what I need. A. When a user adds multiple records the pipeline is triggered by the event. B. With the search option, I will retrieve the records based on my criteria. C. The records are copied only once to the output table. Concerns: Did anyone use this option? Do you see any risk in using it? Just noticed an error while running it. Came up while using the search option. Please notice the second picture below. I remember deleting the loop. Any suggestion? ------------------------------ Costin Angelescu ------------------------------ Re: Automating Weekly Record Copy with Specific Values in Database Tables Dear Mark Shiner, Thank you again for recommending the pipelines. Now I face another issue. I've set up the pipeline (see attached), but when a user adds 6 records, the entries that are searched and then added to the final table end up being multiplied by 6. How can I ensure that when a user adds records to the table, the pipeline copies these records to the final record only once? Please notice the attachment. ------------------------------ Costin Angelescu ------------------------------ Re: Automating Weekly Record Copy with Specific Values in Database Tables Thank you. I just started working with pipelines and it works. ------------------------------ Costin Angelescu ------------------------------ Automating Weekly Record Copy with Specific Values in Database Tables Hello, Can you assist me in figuring out how to automatically copy records with a specific value (e.g., "new") on a particular day (e.g., every Friday) to another table? Thank you. ------------------------------ Costin Angelescu ------------------------------ How to setup the Turnover time per each user for each record Good afternoon, I'm looking to setup my QuickBase app in a way that I can counter how much time each organization is spending to manage each record added in my table. Let's say that I have 3 organizations and 3 people are working on an issue/record like so: Organization (1-3)/user John Maria Ana - A record is added to a table byJohnfrom organization "1" with the issue: Package arrived to the wrong destination. John's record creation has the time stamp 01.03.2023 10:00 AM -Maria from organization 2 is accessing the record and asks for additional details fromJohn. Maria's request inside the record has a time stamp 01.03.2023 10:10 AM and the request is sent back to John, organization 1. - John from organization 1 replies with the details at 01.03.2023 10:40 AM - Maria is adding additional details to the record and forwards the issue to Ana from organization 3, at 01.03.2023 10:50 AM -Ana from organization 3is requesting additional details from John (organization 1) at 01.03.2023 11:00 AM - John replies at 01.03.2023 11:10 AM - Ana closes the record at 01.03.2023 11:20 AM The time spent to close this record was: 80 minutes (1 hour and 20 minutes/ 0.04 days) by all organizations/users. What do I want to return out of this record? The time spent per each Organization (not user)to have this record closed. In this case: John spent: 30 minutes (to reply to Maria's additional details request) + 10 minutes (to reply to Ana's additional details request) = 40 minutes Maria spent: 10 minutes (to reply by asking John for additional details) + 10 minutes (to add details to the record and forward the record to Ana) = 20 minutes Ana spent: 10 minutes (to reply by asking John for additional details) + 10 minutes (to close the record) = 20 minutes For this case I would like to have a quick base setup for fields and formulas to retrieve this scenario. Keep in mind that each organization might have multiple users. This is why I need to count time spent per Organization and not per user. :) ------------------------------ Costin Angelescu ------------------------------
