I wonder if we can have people directed to a code page of some kind....I have never come across it but the company a couple of techie whizz kids :) As always many thanks..btw we should all go back to qsp meets I loved those :) ------------------------------ Paul Johnson ------------------------------ Re: Blank Landing Screen Mark Hi Yet again you come to my rescue :) The people I am working with are switching over to SSO and due to the numbers they will not be using a specific list, this means that everyone in the company will be able to see the QB environment and although 90% do use QB some do not, and of course there are always new starters and what we want a msg saying "if you need access plz log a ticket" Thanks Paul ------------------------------ Paul Johnson ------------------------------ Blank Landing Screen Good Afternoon Everyone If a person has access to the QB environment without having access to any apps they will see the familiar blank screen (see screenshot) I was wondering if there was a way to post a message of some kind into this space saying please contact XXX for access. If this is not possible my backup solution (not yet suggested) is to create a 1 table AOTI app with no access called "click on me" and add the msg to that dashboard. Seem sensible?? Its Friday and it's been a rough week so please be gentle :) :) :) Have a great weekend Paul ------------------------------ Paul Johnson ------------------------------ Pipeline JSON Schema SamplesGood Evening Everyone I am trying to import data into QB from an external location (https://www.travel-advisory.info/api) there is nothing confidential at all about this, it is the UK.gov travel advice api and it is free for anyone to use and all it contains is the current advice for travel either to or through 238 countries. There is no authentication of any kind required. If I point the Fetch JSON pipeline to this site it returns a JSON Data source called Headers, if I look at the data by going to the pipeline step I can see all of the data. After reading I guessed that I needed to use an additional step called Iterate over JSON Steps, I put this in and I am not stumped over what to add into JSON Schema Sample. i have spent all day trying to both write my own or use the data to have sites likehttps://app.quicktype.io/create one, in every case QB pipelines says they fail validation and I am not getting a soft squasy noise when I bang my head against the wall. if anyone has a JSON sample schema that works please can you post it here so that I can see the kind of thing I am striving for. I have added the last one I worked on for reference. Kindest regards Paul { "$schema": "http://json-schema.org/draft-06/schema#", "$ref": "#/definitions/Welcome", "definitions": { "Welcome": { "type": "object", "additionalProperties": false, "properties": { "api_status": { "$ref": "#/definitions/APIStatus" }, "data": { "$ref": "#/definitions/Data" } }, "required": [], "title": "Welcome" }, "APIStatus": { "type": "object", "additionalProperties": false, "properties": { "request": { "$ref": "#/definitions/Request" }, "reply": { "$ref": "#/definitions/Reply" } }, "required": [], "title": "APIStatus" }, "Reply": { "type": "object", "additionalProperties": false, "properties": { "cache": { "type": "string" }, "code": { "type": "integer" }, "status": { "type": "string" }, "note": { "type": "string" }, "count": { "type": "integer" } }, "required": [], "title": "Reply" }, "Request": { "type": "object", "additionalProperties": false, "properties": { "item": { "type": "string" } }, "required": [], "title": "Request" }, "Data": { "type": "object", "additionalProperties": false, "properties": { "DE": { "$ref": "#/definitions/De" } }, "required": [], "title": "Data" }, "De": { "type": "object", "additionalProperties": false, "properties": { "iso_alpha2": { "type": "string" }, "name": { "type": "string" }, "continent": { "type": "string" }, "advisory": { "$ref": "#/definitions/Advisory" } }, "required": [], "title": "De" }, "Advisory": { "type": "object", "additionalProperties": false, "properties": { "score": { "type": "number" }, "sources_active": { "type": "integer" }, "message": { "type": "string" }, "updated": { "type": "string", "format": "date-time" }, "source": { "type": "string", "format": "uri", "qt-uri-protocols": [ "https" ] } }, "required": [], "title": "Advisory" } } } ------------------------------ Paul J ------------------------------ Pipeline & Oauth 2 TokenGood Evening I am trying to use Pipelines to connect QB to Azure for the purpose of dropping a CSV file on the server. I have sorted most of this however the OAuth 2 Credentials seems to be not working, I have never done this with Pipelines before so it is entirely possible that it's me that is doing something wrong.I am pretty sure that the 3 fields are filled out correctly (Client Credentials, Client Secret & Token URL). My question is this: When you fill in the data should you get the access token returned automatically or do you need to use a GET command?? If it is the later please can you cut/paste a screenshot or add an example as it seems that the data I am adding is not returning the token. Many Thanks Paul ------------------------------ Paul Paul ------------------------------ Re: Looking for a QB developer based in UK to work on table relationships.Mark, many thanks for this. For the sake of balance I should say that I am not the only QSP in the UK, DB Developments is however the only company to successfully become accredited by Quick Base as a Silver Partner. If you need anything please do feel free to call me. I am based in a small village outside Cambridge.Re: Will ""Image Onload"" (or or something else similar) Prevent QB from going into ""Mobile Mode"" on a PhoneAnd the highly technical solution which followed hours of research was to jiggle the virtual button and switch it on again :). None the less this is fixedRe: Will ""Image Onload"" (or or something else similar) Prevent QB from going into ""Mobile Mode"" on a PhoneThat is exactly what happened :) either way the champ strikes again :)Re: Will ""Image Onload"" (or or something else similar) Prevent QB from going into ""Mobile Mode"" on a PhoneOK Bizarre comment. it now works :)Re: Will ""Image Onload"" (or or something else similar) Prevent QB from going into ""Mobile Mode"" on a PhoneHiya Nope was not it, well picked up though, I had forgotten to check, I'll buy beer next month I see you.
