The worst one for me is when you make changes to the Pipeline and it appears the changes were saved because it does everything you expect. Then you reload the Pipeline and your changes are missing that were just completed. Sometimes it takes 4-5 times of doing this dance to finally have all of your changes reflected as you change them each time and reload some stick and some don't. At this point it feels like a feature it has been happening for so long. Re: Categorize list of Apps in Admin Console? Not in the admin console no. Your best bet would be to create a new app that will house all your current app names with links back to them. Then in this new app you can categorize your projects. There are ways to do this via the API as well I believe if you want it to automatically add new apps or for you to run it every week to add them. Manually adding them makes sense as well, you could then do more with this app like pulling in the tables and fields associated with it so you can document things about them in a better way than the comment section of a field. Re: Report Formual Fiel Then group by the user and then the closed reason. Re: Report Formual Fiel If you just do a summary report where you have it based on all records in the table then group by the [Closed Reason] one of the groupings will be (empty) which is a blank Closed Reason. You could then look at those in a drilldown report. Re: Address field from one table to another table in a new app using Pipelines Could your error be the same as the topic right above yours? https://community.quickbase.com/communities/community-home/digestviewer/viewthread?GroupId=103&MessageKey=2356a814-1f3c-4fff-b16b-cc63dc063df1&CommunityKey=d860b0f8-6a48-487b-b346-44c47a19a804&ReturnUrl=%2fcommunities%2fallrecentposts Re: Reporting Something like FirstDayOfWeek([Date Created) as a formula should do that for you. Create the field on the table then add to the report you want. You may have already figured that out but leaving this here in case someone searches. The answer here might change if you have the first day of the week set as something else in your app as this is an app setting. So check that if you have any issues. Re: Formula Query Limit? What I have noticed with summarized data in Quickbase is it will never warn you when it isn't able to summarize it all. It will present inaccurate data to you instead and you won't know unless you are auditing it. We had issues summarizing numbers and it wasn't the length of the numbers it was the amount of data combed over I think. It was for commissions for an entire month and what we noticed is when we filter for specific locations we get accurate data but when doing the calculations for all locations at once it skips data in random places and the numbers do not add up. I anticipate this to also be an issue with formula queries but I have not seen it in action yet because I have not had to grab and summarize that amount of data with them. It is also entirely possible because formula queries leap frogs the typical relationship it may not be subject to this same issue. It may depend how many levels of related data there are as well. Just figured I'd throw this out there though in case others have noticed issues like this. Re: Export field list from Quickbase Your dataset is too large. I want to say the limit is something like 25 MB in a report or in this case for the export I guess. One option you have here is to create a report to export instead and then timebox it. If all you care about is the fields then make your own report with every column in it and then say "date created = on or after today" or some other criteria which would severely limit the records. This should let you complete the export assuming you only care about the columns. Re: Is it possible to trigger a Pipeline when a formula field changes on record update? This is the solution here. As long as you don't need it to instantly have a date just do it on a schedule. Then you search for records in the table with your formula field and when everything lines up and the formula field is checked it can input a date. Just make sure you do some error checking like making sure the date is blank first. This is the way I do triggers off formula fields too.Re: How to show date and timestamp in formula fieldIf the [Request Received Date] is actually starting out as date/time then just remove the ToDate function there as that is what is causing it to be converted to a date only and not have any time associated with it. You mentioned the output field type was date/time so I assume this meant your original field there. You could also use ToTimeOfDay to pull the time out of the date/time field to begin with and work with it from there. However if [Request Received Date] starts as a date only you cannot pull a time from it.
