I'll follow-up privately with the actual button code. ------------------------------ Quincy Adam ------------------------------ Re: API Link Redirect Not Working Hi Mark, I got it working. Thank you for your help. One last question: how do I get the email link to display as a button? I used a URL formula and checked button and also tried a regular formula and inserted into an HTML button. Neither worked. Thoughts? ------------------------------ Quincy Adam ------------------------------ Re: API Link Redirect Not Working Hi Mark, I thought I messaged you, but must've not hit send. I think the above works, however, when it redirects, I get a prompt to login. How do you set the redirecting page to be public? I also tried linking externally, but that didn't work. ------------------------------ Quincy Adam ------------------------------ Re: API Link Redirect Not Working Thanks Mark. When I plug this into the email, it just outputs as written above. I am using my realm and app token, but attached is how I'm pasting into notification template. I may misunderstand the execution of this. ------------------------------ Quincy Adam ------------------------------ API Link Redirect Not Working Hello: I'm working on an approval management app that will send a link out via email, that a non-QuickBase user can click on to change the status of a status field, then redirect to a thank you page. I've done this at a former company, but couldn't locate anything with the same use case. I got the link working where the status will update, however, it won't redirect to a thank you page I have setup. Here's the link that would display in the email: https://company.quickbase.com/db/btj2wrtev?a=API_EditRecord&rid=1&_fid_8=Approved&apptoken=xxx&rdr=https://company.quickbase.com/db/btj2wq5eb?a=Showpage&pageID=5 The link will open the XML page with a success, but it doesn't redirect to my thank you page. I've tried dozens of variations, but unfortunately, did not get it to work correctly. ------------------------------ Quincy Adam ------------------------------ Issue with JSON Response ChannelHi folks: I'm having an issue with the JSON Response Channel and I am told it's out of scope for support. I'm posting a JSON payload to a pipeline that has a JSON Response trigger. When I run the pipeline, there's some header info that comes across, but the body does not post. If I create a separate pipeline that uses a webhook, and change my endpoint in Postman to the webhook, it posts just fine. I need to use basic auth, so the webhook isn't an option. Any one have a similar issue with JSON Response? Thanks, Quincy ------------------------------ Quincy Adam ------------------------------ Re: Update Lookup Field Value Based On Another Field ValueThanks Razi. I actually achieved doing this through a pipeline but used static text field instead. I'll give this a try next time. ------------------------------ Quincy Adam ------------------------------ Update Lookup Field Value Based On Another Field ValueHello: I have Pipeline that is receiving a webhook trigger and I realized you cannot map a field to a lookup field. I must store the value in a text field. How could I update a lookup field to match the value from a text field? To elaborate, I have 2 tables: Customer + Insurance In my Customers table, I collect all the info including their Insurance Info. I have another table Insurance, that is a very long list of insurance companies along with an insurance code. I need to return the code to the customer based on their insurance selected. No customer would know their code, so it's not an option to pass that along the webhook. I tried setting up a Pipeline to search for the matching insurance name, but it fails with updating the record. I get the following error: invalid literal for int() with base 10: 'payor_id' There's probably a better way of doing this. Appreciate the help! ------------------------------ Quincy Adam ------------------------------ Recording Pipelines Webhook Response - XMLHello: I have a webhook that is posting to a 3rd party validation service and it's returning a response in XML. The service is also posting the response as "content", so it looks something like: content:" <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" standalone="yes"?> Then the xml payload to follow. I need to access specific tags such as <status>Eligible</status>. What is the best way to parse an XML response and record it? The response is very long, so I don't need to record everything under content. Is there a better way to do this, or will it require some regex trickery to extract what I need? ------------------------------ Quincy Adam ------------------------------ Re: Count If This WeekCorrect ------------------------------ Quincy Adam ------------------------------
