ContributionsMost RecentMost LikesSolutionsRe: jGrowl configuration OptionsI managed to find the CSS page that manages the jGrowl and here is what I found. There are options for: jGrowl-green jGrowl-warning jGrowl-error jGrowl-noClose (*no x in the top right of message box) jGrowl-notification (default) jGrowl-closer (centered text in the message box) *if you don't use "theme:'jgrowl-[option]' " then your box will look like jGrowl-notification Options you can use: - glue:'after' or 'before' *determines where new messages will be added. Either the beginning of the list or at the end of the list - header: 'your header here' *Adds a header line to the message box - life: 5000 *Message box lasts for 5 seconds. - sticky: true or false *If true, the message box will not disappear until it has been exed out or the page refreshes. false is default setting There are others but these seem to be the most useful of the settings that work within QuickBase. Unfortunetely, you cannot change the location of the message box(es) (as well as some other settings) as that must be changed in the defaults before the startup method is called. You can't change the icon within the theme options but I have not tried adding an image into the body where the text would be. jGrowl configuration OptionsWhat are the configuration options for jGrowl that are specific to QuickBase? I have found them for use outside QuickBase but I couldn't get some of them to work within QuickBase. I am most interested in changing the color and location of the jgrowl message.Re: View query record if single record otherwise view query listThank you, this is exactly what I needed. I wasn't sure if there was a way to do the same thing but within the URL itself. I will implement this solution.View query record if single record otherwise view query listI am creating some buttons in a Formula - Rich Text field. They will allow users to quickly jump from one table to the next using the table to table relationships we have set up. Mainly what they will be seeing is a list of related records based on a query. For example, if I am in the Customers Table and I click on the Invoices button it will take me to the invoices table and I can see all the invoices related to that customer. If there is only one invoice I would like the button to take me directly to that invoice record and not view it in list mode. Is there a way to use the query and set up an if statement that would check the length of the query response and if there is only one then view that record. Below is an example of the query code I am using for one of the buttons. URLRoot() & "db/" & [_DBID_INVOICES] & "?a=q&query=" & "{'6'.TV.'" & [Record ID#] & "'}" Combining line items to a singe item on another tableI have an existing app that counts products coming and going on trucks. Right now the main tables are Checkout and Line items, each Checkout has many line items. A truck is either returning (product returned) or leaving (product sold) and a truck has different items. What I would like to do is create a sales order (existing table in another app) based on this information. It needs to be sorted by the day and similar items need to be grouped into one line item. Truck 1 returns 2x Product A and 1x Product B Truck 2 sold 4x Product A and 6x Product C So the sales order would have 3 line items Product A: 2 Product B: -1 (negative because more were returned than were sold that day) Product C: 6 *if a product ends up having a QTY of 0 for the day then it won't show up on the Sales Order Right now I have a report that displays the correct information. It still has multiple of each line item but the summary counts are the correct amounts and it is only showing for the day. How can I move this information to an existing table (Sales Orders) and combine the line items (products) and get the correct QTY count? As well as have this done each morning for the previous day?Save and Close functionalityI am having consistency issues with the save and close button and have questions about how it works exactly. Sometimes when pressed it will go to the parent table and display all records, other times it will display the record I was just editing/adding in view mode. This will happen even if I click "edit" from the parent table and click save and close. I can't seem to find any consistency to reproduce one result or the other. How does the button determine where I am redirected to? Ideally every time one of our users clicks save and close they would be redirected to the table so they can view all records and add a new one if desired. They have no need to view a record they were just editing.Save and Close functionalityI am having consistency issues with the save and close button and have questions about how it works exactly. I am using a formula - email address field to combine 2 email fields into one. What is the correct way to combine them in the formula (are they comma delimited)? I currently have: [customer email] & ", " & [user email] It will be used in some formula fields as well as in some notifications to send to 2 emails (the creator of the record and customer)Re: Redirect URL is not redirectingSolved! Have to encode the second URL but the QuickBase function URLEncode() won't work in javascript so I had to use a javascript based encoder. New code is: var URLONE = URLroot + dbidTable + "?act=API_addRecord" + "&_fid_10=" + recordID + "&_fid_11=" + productNumber + "&_fid_9=" + rollerValue + "&apptoken=" + apptoken; var URLTWO = "&rdr=" + encodeURIComponent(URLroot + "bp9khqnah" + "?a=er&rid=" + recordID); location.href = URLONE + URLTWO; This code works and takes me back to the correct edit record form. Redirect URL is not redirecting I have a form with a button that, when clicked, pulls up an HTML code page. Within that code page, there are forms for the user to fill out. All that is working. What I am having trouble with is the redirect URL. There is a button within the code page that submits the data to a child table (URLONE) and redirects to the Record ID in edit record mode (URLTWO). Separately they work but when trying to run both together I get the XML page saying there are no errors (see code below). note: I have tried &NextURL= as well as &rdr= both result in the same XML page. var apptoken = "apptoken"; var dbid = "appid"; //app id var dbidTable = "tableid"; // table id var recordID = getQueryVariable("recID"); var URLroot = "https://web.quickbase.com/db/"; var URLONE = URLroot + dbidTable + "?act=API_addRecord" + "&_fid_10=" + recordID + "&_fid_11=" + productNumber + "&_fid_9=" + rollerValue + "&apptoken=" + apptoken; var URLTWO = URLroot + "bp9khqnah" + "?a=er&rid=" + recordID + "&apptoken=" + apptoken; location.href = URLONE + "&rdr=" + URLTWO; After submitting I get this: This XML file does not appear to have any style information associated with it. The document tree is shown below. <qdbapi> <action>API_addRecord</action> <errcode>0</errcode> <errtext>No error</errtext> <rid>19</rid> <update_id>1579884810872</update_id> </qdbapi>
