If you are trying to trigger your pipeline on date modified , wouldn't that just be the same as Record Updated without triggering on any field? One way I found how to do this would be to make a table report with Any filter for multiple Asset IDs - in the filter value use the Ask the User option. Then the table will load with the Asset IDs you inputted and you can grid edit.
