ContributionsMost RecentMost LikesSolutionsDate change makes additional field requiredOne of our apps is for our CRM. Currently, we have a Date field for "Forecast Close Date". It's required when a new opportunity is input. Currently, that can be changed at any time for any reason by the Sales Teams. However, I would like add a new, required field, for when that date gets pushed to a date further in the future. i.e., the date in the "Forecast Close Date" is currently set as 2/28/2018. The Sales Rep goes in, and changes that date to 03/05/2018. At this point, I would like both a dropdown and note box to appear (I know how to do that) and become mandatory. I've tried working with some of the logic and rules, but everything is based on "the date in the field is before or after today +/- ___". That doesn't work. I would just like it to note that the date is now further in the future than a date that is already in the future. I hope that makes sense. Any assistance is greatly appreciated. Thanks, MikeRe: Formula HelpAnd now I feel like an idiot. Lol. Thanks for all the help on this. I owe you a drink at Empower. MikeRe: Formula HelpPerfect. Now we're getting somewhere. However, the record only displays the URL as opposed to the icon. Thoughts? Mike Re: Formula HelpSame error message.Re: Formula HelpI apologize for being a pain (and for not understanding formulas better at this point), but I'm still getting an error message. Immediately below is the error message. Below that, is exactly what I have placed in the formula box. Thanks again for all the help. I've put what you showed above into my field, changed the "[checkbox 1] to the actual name of the field, and I'm getting the following error. Sorry to be a hassle. Mike *NOTE* I'm going to need to replicate this across a couple of different tables that are not only related to contacts. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- var number NumCompleted = Count([Buyer], [Decision Maker],[Influencer]);Case($Count,0, "<img src=https://images.quickbase.com/si/32/221-point_red.png>";, 1, "<img src=https://images.quickbase.com/si/32/223-point_yellow.png>";, 2, "<img src=https://images.quickbase.com/si/16/224-point_blue.png>";, 3, "<img src=https://images.quickbase.com/si/32/222-point_green.png>") Error message: Formula Error--Undeclared Identifier The variable Count is not declaredFormula HelpI'm attempting to create a series of colorized progress trackers, based on a number of requirements. To do so, I'm trying to colorize a field based on a number of checkboxes. Example: I have different types of contacts that I need my sales folks to ensure we have in place prior to moving a deal forward. What I would like is for the status bar on the main page to change color based on having none of the boxes checked (Red), any one of the boxes checked (Orange), and two boxes checked (Yellow) and all boxes checked (Green). Thoughts? MikeRe: CC in email notification? So, the only way that I've been able to solve for this is to create a series of Roles, and then set a notification to fire, per each role. As an example, I have Sales Teams which consist of a Team Lead, a (or many) Sales Reps, and a (or many) Account Managers. When a notification goes out based on triggered actions in the record, I had to set a notification to go out for each role. It's cumbersome, and I would hope that a CC option either is, or will become available soon. But for now, this has been my work around. Hope it helps. MikeRe: Notification links across tablesThat works! Thank you sir. MikeNotification links across tablesI have two tables that create a ticketing application. The first table (Tickets) is the ticket itself. The second table (Ticket Activities) is for activities that are attached per ticket. I have notifications set up in the Ticket Activities table when any new activity is created. The link that is available to attach from the notification set-up page (%recLink%) takes me to the Ticket Activity Table. I would like to instead, link to the Tickets Table. How would I accomplish this? Thanks, Mike
