ContributionsMost RecentMost LikesSolutionsRe: Restricting other app lookup fields We kind of need the multi selects. Sometimes a ticket isn't JUST about one module. Sometimes it can affect multiple and we need to be able to select which ones? Does anyone have any other work around for this? Ticket type Dropdown Dependent Module Dropdown (only displays when a certain ticket type selected) Dependent Tag Dropdown (Only displays tags based on the previous Module selection) This is how we are categorizing our records. ------------------------------ Drew Woods ------------------------------ Re: Restricting other app lookup fieldsHi @Mark Shnier (YQC) I think the issue I might be having is that these are multi-select fields. Do you have any suggestions for multi-select fields? ------------------------------ Drew Woods ------------------------------ Restricting other app lookup fieldsI'm not sure if I'm using the correct terms here but I'll give it my best shot: We have an app that tracks tickets. We have another app that tracks feature requests with two tables Modules and Tags. Currently if you choose a ticket, you can select any combination of Modules and Tags. We could like to change this. We are adding an additional field to Tickets called Ticket Type. Based on the ticket type, we would like to make restrictions to the Modules you can choose. And subsequently, when you choose a module, you can then only select specific tags. Is there a way to limit the Modules and Tags based on a previous look up selection? ------------------------------ Drew Woods ------------------------------ Dashboard Search results like Search and Select resultsWhen I perform a search on my App's home page search widget, the results are limited and I have to type "AND" if I want to include any kind of flexibility. However, when I'm on a create form and I'm doing a look up in a Search and Select, the results are much better and have boolean results. Is there no way to configure the dashboard widget to return the same kind of results as the search and select look up? Seeing the lights of Miami at night on the water was pretty spectacular. ------------------------------ Drew Woods ------------------------------ How to Omit Low Values Hi there, I've got a report I run that shows me certain tickets for a given day. However, I don't want to include in the graph any count which results in less than 5. Here is what my graph looks like now: I'm trying to figure out how to remove those low values as they are outliers and skew the graph a bit. ------------------------------ Drew Woods ------------------------------ Sort your Daily Report in the correct order of hours I have a daily report that I generate to indicate the number of tickets (records) generated in a particular hour. Because we're using the 12 hour clock, the order of the hours is not correct. Is there a way to have it sort based on the 24 hour clock, but still keep the 12 hour display? You can see here that the 8am and 9am hours are at the bottom, even though they are in fact the first hours of the day. How can I get them to show up in the correct order? ------------------------------ Drew Woods ------------------------------ Re: How can I get a list of text to display in columns rather than one long list? Thanks. That's great to know. We may implement that for another issue we're working on, but we actually figured out another way to do this. We went into the source code, and just added CSS inline styles and it worked.
Company Name
Company Name
Company Name

Re: How can I get a list of text to display in columns rather than one long list?Definitely something worth exploring. Would you mind elaborating on your solution?Re: How can I get a list of text to display in columns rather than one long list?My bad.
