Creating a formula field to capture time intervals I have a field that captures the time an event occurred, it is a Time of Day field type. These are examples of the output 8:13 am, 12:28 pm. I would like to create a field that lumps times into 1/2 hour intervals. For example, If the Time of Day is =>8:00 am and =<8:29 am then the interval would be captured as 8:00 - 8:30. If Time of Day is =>8:30 am and =<8:59am then the interval would be 8:30 - 9:00, etc. Nothing I've tried seems to work as I repeatedly run into sytax errors. Does anyone have suggestions? Thanks Sheila Re: Formula Help - Average Productivity Per Day Thank you! ------------------------------ Sheila Allas ------------------------------ Formula Help - Average Productivity Per Day I'm trying to figure out a formula to calculate average productivity per day and nothing I do seems to work. I have a table with call reviews. Not every person who completes reviews works every single day of the month. I would like to determine their average daily productivity by taking the number of reviews they complete per month and dividing that by the number of days they actually worked. I can't seem to get the piece for the number of days that have productivity. I could use either the Monitor Stop Date/Time field or the Date Created field to establish the days that have reviews completed. Any assistance is greatly appreciated. I'd appreciate any advise. ------------------------------ Thanks, Sheila Allas ------------------------------ Re: Formula Help Request Thank you that was very helpful. ------------------------------ Sheila Allas ------------------------------ Formula Help Request I'm trying to create a formula that will read 6 different numeric fields and then decide which field to populate as a results. If Numeric field 6 is empty, populate Number field 5 If Numeric field 5 is empty, populate Numeric field 4 If Numeric field 4 is empty, populate Numeric field 3, If Numeric field 3 is empty, populate Numeric field 2, If Numeric field 2 is empty, populate Numeric field 1 At minimum, Numeric field 1 will always have a value. Any help you can provide is greatly appreciated. I've tried many things and nothing is working. I have a field Requisition # and a field called Candidate Ref Num. Neither is unique on their own, but the 2 values combined create a unique value. I created a formula text field to combine these and marked it Unique. I hoped to use it as the Merge Field to import additional data to the record. Unfortunately it's not listed as a merge field (probably because it's a formula field). Does anyone have any insight into how I handle this particular problem? ------------------------------ Thanks, Sheila Allas ------------------------------ Re: Formula Help NeededThank you!
