My QuickBase features a dropdown list that when selected, should automatically fill another field with today's current date. Is there a way to check if anything has been selected in a dropdown? My best guess is something like this: If([Dropdown] = TRUE, ...) However, this throws me an error because the "=" operator cannot be used with textlists. Any ideas as to how I can work around this? I appreciate the help! ------------------------------ James Warren ------------------------------ Re: Using a date in an If statementThat works! I appreciate it. ------------------------------ James Warren ------------------------------ Using a date in an If statementI want to write a fairly basic If statement that would look something like this: If([Resolution Date] > (3+[Initiation Date], "TRUE", "FALSE) However, I receive the error "Expecting bool but found date". Are dates able to used in this way? Are there any possible workarounds I could explore? Thank you! ------------------------------ James Warren ------------------------------ How to ask, "Are there any more ___ to add?"I have a form that generally requires one field entry per user, but on occasion will need 2-3. For instance, one user may be required to submit a single address, while the other will be required to add 2-3. Is there a way to add a box at the bottom of a form section asking "are there any more *addresses* you would like to add?" Selecting "yes" would then populate a duplicate series of fields. This could be repeated as many times as the user needs. I appreciate the help! ------------------------------ James Warren ------------------------------
