ContributionsMost RecentMost LikesSolutionsRe: Reports in the Mobile Application Thanks, Mark, for your quick reply. Reports in the Mobile ApplicationI have recently created an application and want to use the Mobile App for customers who are out in the field. The look of reports and forms out-of-the-box seems poor. My customers are complaining that it is not user-friendly. The rest of quickbase is awesome when you learn what you're doing that I guess the is something about development for the mobile application that I have not learned. Why aren't the fonts sized properly for a mobile device? There is an enormous amount of unused real estate on the screen but rows are compressed so that you have to click a "+" sign to see more of the row. Is there a secret setting (or more) that I need to make as I am building the browser-based webpages? Thank you for any help! I was missing the little radio button that activates the user. I eventually found it, but it's not an obvious edit! All thebest, Myra Re: "Denied" user status RESOLVED -- PLEASE DISREGARD!!! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ I have a user that I setup who is in "Denied" status. I don't know how he became "Denied", but I need to add him back to Active. I am the administrator for my realm. I do not see any way to change the status from "Denied" to "Active". Could someone point me in the right direction please? Thanks, Myra ------------------------------ Myra Canterbury ------------------------------ Re: Change Column names on reports One other thing I've done to try and fix this in a permanent way (across all reports) is to create Columns using formula fields. The formula sets the value to theoriginal column name imported from an external system. The field name is a short version of the original column name. And the formatting of the new column is probably different to allow for a better look thanwhat'sin the source data. Then when creating the reports, I use the formula fields. Either way it's a lot of work that could be eliminated with an AliasName for each column in a table. Myra Re: Change Column names on reports Gotcha! I opened a reportfor editing, clicked on the Display button, clicked on the column dropdown arrow, saw the "Column Properties", and made my changes. As always, thank you for generously sharing your QB knowledge! Myra Re: Change Column names on reportsHi, Mark, Am I crazy or has the "column properties" been removed from report headings? I can see these options: I wish table columns had "Report Alias" built into the tables. I need descriptive column names for building the application, but the report columns are ridiculously long now. And I'd be willing to change the names in individual reports but don't see a way to do it despite the instructions in this Q&A thread. ------------------------------ Myra Canterbury ------------------------------ Re: Sort High-to-low by date in Summary Cross-Tab Reports Thank you, Mark! You're a QB Genius! It works perfectly! Re: Sort High-to-low by date in Summary Cross-Tab Reports That's a great idea! I am going to try it and will let you knowhow it goes. Thanks, Myra
