I'm not sure I would have put 2 and 2 together with a reverse lookup.....but it worked like a charm! Best, Allissa ------------------------------ Allissa Weber ------------------------------ Re: Add a field from second record (of the same person) to a report? Hi Chayce, The most recent team is identified in the current report (in the screenshot) - I need to add the 2nd most recent team (or 1st inactive team). Does this make sense? Thanks, Allissa ------------------------------ Allissa Weber ------------------------------ Add a field from second record (of the same person) to a report? Hi All, I'm not sure where to start with this one. It seems relatively simple, but my search terms have yielded me nothing thus far (As you can probably tell from my ambiguous titling of this message!) .....I know, it hardly makes sense to me (the title) and I know what I'm trying to ask! Staff/Employee Application: I have a staff application that has multiple tables. One table is the employees themselves; another is theirassignments. Since we have employees that often move from one team to another, assignments are added as active, then the previous one is "inactivated" (via checkbox). In the report that I have built (based on dates, etc) - I am pulling in the ACTIVE assignment. Is there a way to add a column to this report (a field, I'm assuming) that shows the first INACTIVE assignment's record for TEAM NAME? Specifics of this report: This report is specifically for anniversary dates/bonus eligibility - for specific people. The people that are eligible are those that have made lateral transfers. However, since we have several teams that have more than one "team"/more than one supervisor also (Travel Team 1, Travel Team 2, Travel Team 3, et al) - the people that move from Travel Team 1 to Travel Team 3 are not eligible. They would be eligible if they moved from Travel Team 1 to Accounts Payable though. So on this report that I've built, I'm showing the employees current assignment, team name, supervisor name, start date, and I'd also like to show their PREVIOUS Team Name - to make it easier to distinguish who is NOT ELIGIBLE - in this instance. I don't know if I need some sort of formula or what, but I feel like this should be possible. I just have a serious case of the Mondays, and have no earthly idea how to get from here to there. Any help is appreciated! Allissa ------------------------------ Allissa Weber ------------------------------ Pipelines Question Hi Everyone, We have a need to be able to take data from a Quickbase Report (ex:Employees List) and post it to a Google Sheet that our IT group would have view access to. Is this possible to do in Pipelines. I have been experminenting with all manners of this - and cannot (for the life of me) get anything to work. The only other caveat is that the Header Row is ROW 1 and ROW 2 has some characters in it that need to stay in the position of ROW 2. The data starts on ROW 3. Is this possible? Thanks in advance, Allissa ------------------------------ Allissa Weber ------------------------------ Re: Upload Multiple Attachments with Synced Table from Another App??Laura Thacker - THANK YOU!! ------------------------------ Allissa Weber ------------------------------ Upload Multiple Attachments with Synced Table from Another App??Hi All, Not 100 on where to start with this question - please let me know what additional info is needed - if there is a solution to this. I have a separate app (Master Staff List) - that contains employee details. I've built a separate app (Equipment Master) - that contains information about company-owned assets that our employees have. This app (Equipment) has a linked/synced table for employee name/ID - and I've set up the Multiple File Attachment functionality from Kirk T's posted video/post. However, when I go to execute - the files will get added, but not to any employee. All the related employee information is blank. Am I doing something wrong - or is this just not possible with a synced table? Thanks in advance, Allissa ------------------------------ Allissa Weber ------------------------------ Re: Pulling Data up from several tables deep to reportThanks Mark, that did work. Now, I have another question. Is there any way to only pull the ACTIVE record in the Staff Assignments table? The combined summary is pulling all instances of Team Names that are active in the employees past records (in Staff Assignment Table). Example below. I also learned where the original version of the Relationship Diagram is! ;o) ------------------------------ Allissa Weber ------------------------------ Pulling Data up from several tables deep to reportOk, I know this should be possible...I have an App with 9 tables in it. This app is functioning as a Master Staff List, and also HR Database with Staff Assignments, pay, etc in it. Brief Description of the image below: 1) The Employees table is the "Main" table - on that will be exported into another app for useage. 2) The Staff Assignments table contains active and inactive staff records, pay increases, job code changes, terminations, etc. 3) The Teams table contains a list of the 30 teams within the building. 4) The Supv-Team Join Table, is a junction table, with data from Supervisors and Teams feeding into it; and allowing individual Supervisors to be linked with an Individual team, while maintaining historical data of past supervisors (inactive, etc). I need to be able to pull the Team Name (from the Supv-Team Join Table) into the Employees table for reporting. We need to have a list of staff that includes the team names. I have tried every which way that I can think of - and I'm friggin stumped! Not sure if it's something simple and I'm just blind to it, after more than a week of trying to get this to work, or what. Glad to provide more info if needed - this is my first official app, so bear with me! Thanks, Allissa ------------------------------ Allissa Weber ------------------------------
