Is there a way to add a button that will edit a record with "pre-planned" data?  Looking for a quick approval system for an app I created for employee overtime requests.  This button would be only accessible to the app admin(s) and would generally set a Text multi select field to "yes", User List to the approver, and add a brief description of "Approved" to a multi-line text field.  Any help is appreciated.------------------------------Joshua Case------------------------------

I need to count total of the participant but to exclude one of the participant categories, for example teacher category. The table is as shown belowParticipants name | Participants categoryDavid                         | TeacherNadia                         | StudentSam                            | ScholarRather than count total of 3 participants, because its excluded teacher category, the result will show total 2 participants. Can you please explain to me available formula for this case? Many Thanks------------------------------Syaeful Bahri------------------------------

Hi All,I have a field duration. If the workshop duration is more than 1 day, it's possible to create field automatically based on input of  field duration. For example, duration is 2 (days), it will create new 2 field  - day 1 and day 2. If duration is 3 (days), it will create new 3 field - day 1, day 2, day 3 and so on. The field will contain checklist - attend or not attend to track workshop attendance for each day. Many thanks------------------------------Syaeful Bahri------------------------------

I have 3 tables: Assessment, Locations and Workstations. Assessment connects to one or many Locations; A location has many workstations.I would like to display the grandchild (workstation table) records in the Assessment form? Is this possible without making a relationship between assessment and workstation table?I am afraid that making a triangle relationship may result in mismatched data (if workstations are moved from one location to another). Please advise. Thanks.------------------------------Uma Harithsa------------------------------

I have a field formula - text.I am trying to write a formula to check and see if all Assignments have a Date Scheduled and a calendar time.If they do, then I need the Text in the field to be a "YES" otherwise a "NO"The number of assignments can vary, but regardless of the number of assignments, I need to ensure that all assignments have a scheduled date and a calendar time.I have to incorporate this part of the formula into a bigger formula that I am working out, but I am stuck on this portion of it because of the fact that there could be 1 assignment or there could be many assignments and I am not too well versed yet in determining how to go about catching all assignments. Based upon the above, the results in the field would be "NO", because there is no Calendar Time for Test, Jeff, or Date Scheduled for Test, Sarah. Both Date Scheduled and Calendar Time need to be filled in for every assignment in order to populate "YES". Any pointers, thoughts, ideas, etc that any of you can provide

So I have a User field in a table that I'm directly inserting into an exact form, but regardless of how I have the User displaying in QB, I can only get the username to display on the form. Is there a code snippet to change the format of the User in the exact form or should I just try making a new field?Thanks,------------------------------Benjamin Golden------------------------------

I have HTML Text on my form, and I want to have it show only if certain conditions are met (checkbox is checked). Since its not a field on my table, rather just an HTML text on my form- in dynamic form rules this field (field 0) isnt listed as an option to do anything with. Is there a better way to do this?  What this field i'm trying to hide is, is an image coming from our website.------------------------------Mike Klausing------------------------------

Does anyone know how to display radio buttons horizontally?

I am wanting to create a button that will redirect the user to another table within the same application, to a specific form within that table and the related record. I am aware you can do this using the key field in the table. However, the key field in the two tables I'm working with are not the same. (One is a project ID# and the other is a QB generated Record ID#)Can I utilize another field in the starting table that relates to the key field in the end point table? If so, how does that look in a formula. I've tried it all and am starting to lose hope. Thanks in advance!
