This individual will own the development, maintenance, and continuous improvement of our Quickbase applications and automation workflows. The ideal candidate brings deep, hands-on Quickbase platform experience, strong problem-solving instincts, and the communication skills to collaborate closely with our internal team during U.S. Eastern Time business hours. Key Responsibilities Quickbase Development Design, build, and maintain custom Quickbase applications tailored to business operations including project management, quoting, scheduling, and workflow tracking. Improve forms, fields, workflows, and automations to support evolving business needs. Build and maintain reports and dashboards that give leadership and staff clear visibility into operations. Develop functionality using Quickbase formulas, Pipelines, and scripting. Troubleshoot issues and continuously improve existing processes and application logic. Create simple documentation or training materials as needed to support team adoption. Integrations and Automation Set up and manage integrations with tools such as Zapier, FastFields, CallRail, and RingCentral. Build, maintain, and optimize multi-step Zapier workflows that connect Quickbase with other platforms. Monitor active integrations for errors or failures and resolve issues proactively. Identify new automation opportunities across the business and design solutions that reduce manual work. Maintain clear documentation of all active integrations, trigger logic, and connected applications. Collaboration and Communication Participate in regular check-ins and project updates with leadership and staff during ET business hours. Communicate clearly and proactively about project status, timelines, blockers, and recommendations. Translate non-technical business needs into functional technical solutions with minimal back-and-forth. Provide guidance to internal team members on using Quickbase applications or automated workflows. What We Are Looking For Experience building and managing Quickbase apps with a strong understanding of Pipelines, formulas, roles, and permissions. Minimum 3 or more years of hands-on Quickbase development experience, with a portfolio of real-world applications. Familiarity with integrations using Zapier and other APIs. Bonus: JavaScript experience or familiarity with webhooks and REST APIs. Self-starter who can work independently on flexible, project-based tasks. Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to clearly explain technical concepts to a non-technical audience. Must be available and responsive during U.S. Eastern Time business hours (Monday through Friday, approximately 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM ET). Required Qualifications Database Fundamentals: Proven understanding of relational database structures, data modeling concepts, and principles of Master Data Management (MDM). Enterprise Systems Experience: 3-5 years of hands-on experience as an administrator or analyst supporting enterprise-level business applications. Data Analysis and Transformation Tools: Advanced proficiency in data manipulation and transformation, with a proven ability to leverage various tools (including but not limited to advanced spreadsheet functions and specialized data querying languages like M code/Power Query) to meet complex data needs. Demonstrated experience evolving and improving existing data processes. Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate business process requirements into technical system solutions. Highly Desired System Experience Quickbase Experience: Direct, hands-on administration or development experience with Quickbase (or other low-code tools) is a significant advantage.
