File Not Found error message when submitting form

I have a user who gets an "Your file was not found" error page when they attempt to submit a form. She is using Google Chrome, just like everyone else who submits these forms (but she is the only one this is happening to).

Despite getting an error message after pressing submit, the record seems to be saving but with only half the information. This requires her to redo most of her form.

Does anyone have any idea why this might be happening?

  • When you say

    Submit a form

Do you mean Save a Record? Or is that Submit button running some kind of script.
  • Filling out a form to submit a new record.

When the SAVE button is clicked to save the record, this happens.

Does the form have a URL field that references a local file?
  • It has URL fields that copy the links to other file attachments field within that form, if that's what you mean?
  • For what button? None of this involves any button but the default Save button.

Also this has literally worked for months and is currently working for everyone but this one user, so I don't think it has anything to do with formulas on the page.

May I suggest that user just reboot their computer? What could be happening is some Windows file save processing artifact from a previous failed file save or aborted file save. Just have that user reboot and try again.
