customize the html page

I have a form called ticket. In this "ticket" form, i have a field called "Addition Information'" which is using Text-Multi-line type. See below for example

I created a button in this "ticket" form to print a page in html called "Disgnosis Request.html"(see below).

This page has the field "Addition Information" (field id# 70) and it is on the page when I printed out. The problem is that it displays in html format which is not the same as you saw on the ticket. There is no new line and the text is all on the same row. See below for what is on the printed page and compare to the text on the "Addition information" field under the "ticket" form above.

My question is that how can I customize this html page so the text is displayed exactly as what is on the ticket form which has new rows, so it is easier to read? Please help. Thanks!

Sorry, I'm not sure about this one. Hopefully someone else can answer the problem.

It appears you are using Exact Forms which generates the HTML page for a specific record, and the multi-text line encoding is not carrying over the <br>'s like you see on the view record page.

    Everett Patterson,

I figured it out by changing the field type to rich text. Thanks for your advice!

Is there a reason that you feel the need to program the printing with html. Ie a non native solution?
