My User field does not change to a new user.

Hello,I am trying to change my User field to another name.&nbsp;Event though I have selected a new person for the field as a default, the name has does not change on the table field.thank you.------------------------------Reza Khosrowabadi------------------------------

When you change the field default it will only change in newly created records, where the default will be automatically set. Older records would need an import to be done if you wanted to change them all to the same user.

Are you having a different problem than I described here? Is the default not working on new records?

Any default value only applies to new records created after the change to the default value. For existing records you will need to manually update those to the default user. You can do this by building a report of affected records and the using search and replace (from the more menu) or by grid edit in a report or from the field in a form.
