Adding multiple documents to a single record

Any tips on how to add multiple documents to  single record?  I can't find anything in Help.

  • Hi Jill,

    Another option is to create a file attachments table as a child table, then that way you can have multiple documents under each record. That way for some records where you only need 1 or 2 you only create those records but for others where you have 10-20 documents you won't need to keep making more file attachment fields to hold them and have them floating around.

      For sure if they see the need expanding beyond a couple of documents per record this is the way to go. Otherwise it gets really annoying to deal with.

    You need multiple file attachment fields, up to the amount of different documents you need to add.
