Adding the related field through Pipeline

I have 2 tables where one is the parent and the other is a child. I'm adding a record in the child using pipelines, but I'm not able to add values in the related parent fields through the pipeline. Is...

What do you mean? Is 'Related Parent' not available as a field? Have you added 'Related Parent' in the field called "Specify Fields for Use in Subsequent Steps"?
