Using rich text pages

I was trying to use Pages in home settings. I successfully created some trial rich text page and saved it, but i couldn't where I could use these rich text pages. I couldn't make it as dashboard default home page and there are no enough articles in the internet on where to use it and how to use it. Please guide me

    Rich text pages cannot be used as a Dashboard. Only those marked as type "Home Page" can be used as a Dashboard.

      I had a quick look and this article was only about how to create the rich text page, but there was no info on where to use it. I want to know what problem does it solve!

        Typically, Rich Text Pages can be used in the generation of Exact Forms or for creating in-product Help documents. I'm sure there are many other use cases, but those are the primary ones that I've seen.
