QuickBase Application Developer and Administrator

Because of that growth, and our ever expanding QuickBase ecosystem, we need an experienced QuickBase application developer and administrator to help us continue to thrive.

Overview: 

ZTERS mission is to provide the most inclusive set of site services (roll-off dumpsters, portable toilets, temporary fencing, mobile offices, and more) for our customers in one spot. Since 2013, we have managed all our operations in QuickBase and have largely connected our other systems via API integrations. QuickBase is at the heart of our company. We are looking for someone who can help expand and improve our ecosystem and drive a better experience for our customers and employees.

You'll be responsible for: 

• Managing and supporting multiple mission critical QuickBase Applications.
• Identifying and working with end users to implement process improvements, enhancements, and bug fixes.
• Work with multiple parties to identify priorities in development and optimization of QuickBase applications.
• Identifying opportunities to optimize workflow and reporting.
• Commenting your code so others can understand.
• Manage access controls and security permissions.
• QA test work.

 

The ideal candidate would: 

• Work effectively in a growing team.
• Be proficient and creative with extending QuickBase's functionality with custom scripts.
• Have some working knowledge of relevant programming languages (Javascript, HTML, PHP, Comfortable with API Integrations)
• Strong communication skills. Able to communicate project requirements and scope out the work.
• Have experience managing QuickBase applications.
• QuickBase Expert Builder Certification.
• Database design experience.
• Experience with Sage Intacct a plus.
• Ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders.
• Detail oriented.
• Self-starter – comfortable working with little oversight and directing day to day workflow.

Job Requirements: 

• 3 years of QuickBase experience
• Have knowledge of various integrations/APIs
• Expertise in QuickBase or similar ecosystem.
• Computer science degree or equivalent background. 
• Located in the Houston area.
