Auto Apply A Dynamic Filter on a Report?

Cannot get the table homepage to behave that way but if you apply a dynamic filter on the old style report it changes with the URL. You could copy and paste paste that long URL into a button on the dashboard and then they can access the team members report off the dashboard and they should land on a pre-filtered page that they can un-filter if they choose.
