5 years agoCan you name your key tables and their One to Many Relationships. Also, how are Team Members "Assigned" to a Program.

- JenBlack5 years agoQrew MemberHi Mark,
My key tables are 'Programs' and 'Team' which each have a 1:Many relationship with the join table 'Client Assignments' which is the table that we assign team members in. Each team member is assigned to many programs and each program can have many team members.
Then I currently have 'Programs' attached to 'Client Health' with a 1:Many relationship (1 Program has many client health records). But as I'm typing this, I'm realizing it should probably be a 1:Many from 'Client Assignments' to 'Client Health'. (1 client assignment has many client health records).
Hopefully that is helpful, I'm still learning Quickbase, so let me know if there are any other details I can provide. Thanks for looking into this!
Jen

I think, that I'm still not understanding clearly your relationships and which record type you want to auto create.
Can you post a picture of your relationships by using the Relationship diagram tool in App Management?

This is where we are able to give programs multiple team members and give team members multiple program assignments. I currently have Client Health connected to the Programs table, but I believe I should connect it to the Client Assignments table instead.
Edited to add: The type of record I want to create is a new client health record for each client assignment that exists. Essentially I want an automation to create new records across each client assignment where all the fields are blank except for "Program Name," that way client teams can easily click into this report at the end of the month, fill out their client health fields via grid edit and save. Essentially, i'm trying to make their end of client health as easy as possible, we just want them to fill in the blanks and hit save.
Sorry, I updated this with the relationship diagram you requested.
