Best practices for mobile-friendly dashboards

Does anyone have best practices for building dashboards that look nice on the mobile UI?

My users use desktop equally as mobile, but I've only found ways to build a dashboard that looks nice in one or the other.

An example of what I've run into-
1. My company likes Summary reports. A user clicks on a Summary report and has to go to Full Site. Full Site displays mostly QB UI, table bar and side filters. And then the user has to know enough to click the mobile phone at the top of the page to get back to the Mobile dashboard.

2. I use side bars on the left side. A user enters QB in mobile and the three side widgets display first

I could use two dashboards but I don't know a native way to do that without having a main dashboard asking if the user is on mobile or desktop. I don't want to do that.

Any tips or tricks?

Sometimes people will have the first button on the left side be a link to a 'mobile friendly' dashboard.

Also, using bookmarks are helpful to save time and extra loading.
