Burn Rate Chart

I have a task management app where tasks have estimated effort in hours.  I would like to produce a burn rate chart like what is found in the link below. I can get the effort on the Y axis but I can't figure out how to get the past 10 days in the X axis.  Any idea how I can get the X axis to display the count of hours each day for the past 10 days?
