Button Formula- Add child record, then hide parent record

Question

I can't seem to find the solution to my issue. I have two task tables: [(staff name)] and [Aggregate]. The staff person creates a record in [(staff name)] table, which then needs to be added to the [Aggregate] table, then hidden from the [(staff name)] table. I have tried so many different formulas and can't seem to find the right way to do it. I've been trying all week and have a deadline to get it done so our staff can start entering their tasks. Someone help!

You would need to set up an automation or a pipeline. It would trigger on record being created in the staff table and then it would have two steps. One step would be to add a record to the aggregate table and then the next step would be to edit that record they have a flag field so that it's hidden from view on the staff table on various reports.
